Djed Spence was not happy to be substituted at the City Ground, and the Tottenham full-back did something untoward after being taken off.
It is tempting to say that Spurs’ 3-0 loss at Nottingham Forest was their poorest of the season, given how poor the Midlands club have been this term.
However, the reality is that the Lilywhites have already had several of these kinds of performances this season, where they have even failed to lay a glove on the opposition.
Frank has plenty on his plate at the moment as he desperately tries to arrest Tottenham’s slide, and the behaviour of one of his players has now given him one more problem to address.

Djed Spence expresses his anger after Tottenham substitution
Spence’s behaviour was under the scanner after Tottenham’s loss to Chelsea at home earlier this season, with the England international ignoring Frank after the final whistle.
On Sunday, the 25-year-old was replaced on 58 minutes by Ben Davies as Spurs were chasing the game, and the former Middlesbrough man was not too keen to come off.
Alasdair Gold has now revealed that Spence hurled his jacket on the ground after being taken off.
Thomas Frank admits he will look back on Djed Spence’s reaction
The Tottenham boss insisted that he did not see the full-back’s reaction after coming off at the City Ground.
Frank said he will watch it again and suggested it may be down to frustration on Spence’s part regarding his own performance.
When asked if he had any issue with the 25-year-old arguing after being taken off and throwing his jacket to the ground, the Tottenham boss responded: “You’re the third one that said that to me today. I didn’t see it. Of course, I will look back to be aware of it.
“I think there can be three reasons. He can be disappointed with his own performance, the team’s performance, he can be disappointed with being subbed off. I’ll ask him about that.”
