Thomas Frank makes exciting Randal Kolo Muani claim after first Tottenham brace

Tottenham fans will be excited by what Thomas Frank has revealed about Randal Kolo Muani following his brace against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman has had a couple of injury setbacks since his loan move to Spurs in the summer, which have prevented him from hitting the ground running at N17.

From a personal point of view, Kolo Muani could not have picked a better game to open his account in front of goal for Tottenham, netting a brace against his parent club.

The centre-forward, who is currently playing with a face mask after fracturing his jaw earlier this month, proved a point to Luis Enrique, who has now shipped him away on loan in two consecutive seasons.

Thomas Frank claims there is more to come from Randal Kolo Muani at Tottenham

Frank was delighted with the performance that the 26-year-old delivered at the Parc de Princes, admitting that the forward showed what we can expect from him moving forward.

Interestingly, the Tottenham boss revealed that Kolo Muani is not even fully fit yet and that there is more to come from the forward.

When asked if the on-loan PSG man showed what he is capable of when he gets a run of matches under his belt, Frank told Football.London: “Yeah, definitely. I think today we saw what hopefully we can expect. I think even two goals and assists in every game is probably too much. I would love to get that in every single game.

“But as I said the whole time, he came in late with no pre-season, not top fit, had two setbacks, especially with the dead leg and then the broken jaw. Today we saw more of it. He’s still not top fit. So hopefully he’ll come in more.”

Frank admits Kolo Muani offers something other Spurs forwards do not

The Frenchman has seemingly become Tottenham’s first-choice number nine over the last few weeks, and were it not for his broken jaw, he would have likely started the North London derby as well.

Ahead of the game against PSG, Frank admitted that Kolo Muani’s link-up play and his one-v-one ability set him apart from Tottenham’s other strikers.

With Richarlison now back among the goals and with Dominic Solanke edging closer to fitness, the number nine role suddenly looks much less of a problem for Frank.
