Thomas Frank offers Mohammed Kudus and Djed Spence injury update ahead of Tottenham vs Copenhagen

Thomas Frank has now provided an injury update on the fitness of his Tottenham squad ahead of Spurs’ Champions League tie against Copenhagen.

Thomas Frank definitely has work to do on his Tottenham squad, which has struggled for consistency all season.

Tottenham Hotspur have managed just one win in their last five outings, with their latest defeat coming at the hands of London rivals Chelsea, who secured a 1-0 victory.

Spurs fans have not been best pleased with the recent results, with many booing Frank and his side after full-time following the defeat to Chelsea.

Tuesday, however, offers Tottenham the chance to right their wrongs as Copenhagen is set to visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham have injury issues for Champions League fixture

Spurs’ home form this season has been poor, with Frank and his men managing just one win from five home games in the league this campaign, but that will have to change if they are to secure victory over the Danish champions.

Tottenham sit in 15th place in the league phase table in the Champions League, one point off eighth place, making a victory crucial if they are to avoid losing ground on the automatic qualification places.

Thomas Frank has a small group of 22 players to pick from, and while his side has been battling an injury crisis, there were a few boosts against Chelsea.

Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odobert have all returned to full fitness after spells on the sidelines and are now in contention for this Champions League tie.

Dominic Solanke is not expected to return before the international break later this month and is ruled out for this fixture.

Spence, Kudus and Bergvall all missed training earlier today at Hotspur Way.

The other injured players have not been registered for the Champions League, so their absence matters little for now.

Archie Gray remains unavailable, and Thomas Frank has now provided an injury update on the fitness of his Tottenham squad.

He told Football London: “Lucas got concussion, which was probably pretty obvious from the footage. Big praise to the medical team because it’s a tricky situation to be in when it’s two minutes into a game and everything is on it so well done to them because the players’ health is the most important thing.

“Djed and Mo got a knock. They could and should be available for tomorrow.”
