Thomas Frank has now provided an injury update on Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski, who has been out for well over five months, following a serious injury back in May.
Tottenham Hotspur have been handed some welcome news on the injury front, with Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odobert all now back fit and available for selection.
The trio’s return offers a slight relief to the growing list of absentees in north London, although Thomas Frank still has to manage a side missing several key names, with nine players still sidelined at the moment.
Some of Tottenham’s long-term absentees, such as James Maddison, are still expected to be out for a while, while others who picked up season-ending injuries last term are gradually working their way back to full fitness.

Thomas Frank provides Dejan Kulusevski injury update at Tottenham
Radu Dragusin has returned to training following his ACL injury, but the defender has yet to feature in a competitive match since his recovery.
Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski, who injured his patella back in May, remains sidelined and is still some way from returning to full fitness.
Thomas Frank, speaking to Football London, has now provided a brief but telling update on the Swedish midfielder’s situation, revealing that the player has not yet resumed outdoor training.
He said: “That’s a good question, he’s still not on the grass and we’re working very hard to get him fit as quick as possible, I think my message is that he’s not on the grass yet.”
Spurs’ creative struggles continue without Kulusevski
Tottenham would be desperate to see the Swede return to full fitness and get back to playing regularly, but with no clear timeline on when he would return, fans would have to wait longer.
As it stands, Spurs have just one recognised number ten in Xavi Simons, although Lucas Bergvall, Pape Matar Sarr and even Mohammed Kudus have all been tried in that central role.
Still, Tottenham’s creativity has looked somewhat blunt, and there is no doubt that the return of Kulusevski would inject much-needed imagination and rhythm into Frank’s side.
