Thomas Frank has spoken about whether the Tottenham players are taking his tactical messages on board as Spurs drop into the bottom half of the table.
Even though Tottenham lost against PSG, there was a feeling of positivity in the Spurs camp after the performance they delivered in Paris.
However, the little momentum and confidence that the Tottenham players built on Wednesday came crashing down in the first few minutes of Saturday’s game as Fulham raced into a 2-0 lead within six minutes.
For the remainder of the first half, Spurs failed to threaten Fulham’s goal at all, and unsurprisingly, the half-time whistle was met with extremely loud boos.

Thomas Frank is not worried about Tottenham players absorbing his messages
While the home side gave a much better account of themselves in the second period, the first-half display would cause alarm bells.
That is especially so, given that Thomas Frank had once again talked about wanting his side to play offensively in the lead-up to the Fulham game.
When asked after his side’s 2-1 loss on Saturday if he is worried the players are not taking on board his messaging, Frank responded (via Football.London): “No, I am not (worried), because I think we have seen clearly other times it has worked much better. Maybe we haven’t been absolutely free-floating, but it looked much better. I think it is isolated in two different games.
“The Arsenal game was hopefully a big one-off in terms of the overall performance. I think PSG it looked like they took on board my messages it is fair to say and second-half, it looks like they took on my messages.
“And I think this game we are behind 2-0 down after six minutes with all the nice, good questions that we want to do so well to get back on track. I think there are so many things into it.”
Is Frank starting to lose the Spurs dressing room?
We first started to see signs of cracks at Tottenham a few weeks ago when Micky van de Ven and Djed Spence ignored Thomas Frank following the defeat to Chelsea.
While the Van de Ven and Spence controversy was brushed under the carpet by Frank, the Dane cannot now get away from the fact that either his game plans are not working or the players are not able to translate his ideas onto the pitch.
Many pundits have already written off Frank at Tottenham, and unless the former Brentford boss is able to turn the ship around soon, his days at N17 may be numbered.
