Tottenham have managed a strong start in the Premier League under Thomas Frank, but their home form remains a concern that the new boss is eager to fix.
Tottenham Hotspur are third in the Premier League table and are just two points behind leaders Arsenal, which is a credit to Frank and his players.
However, Spurs also have their away form to thank for that strong start, having picked up an impressive ten of their 14 points on the road.
At home, though, Tottenham’s record has been far from convincing, with just four points collected from a possible nine at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, leaving them with the 16th-worst home record in the division.

Thomas Frank on improving Tottenham’s home form
This worrying trend at home is not entirely new, as the struggles stretch back to the 2024 season under former boss Ange Postecoglou, where Tottenham managed just six wins from 19 league fixtures at home.
Thomas Frank has now spoken about the importance of turning the Tottenham Hotspur stadium into a ground that opposition sides dread visiting.
Speaking on the club’s home form, the Tottenham manager said via the club’s official media channels: “We would like our home to be a fortress. That is the aim. If we can make it an unbelievably difficult place to come, then the job is half done.
“This needs cohesion between the team and the fans. Every game of football goes up and down with good and bad spells so we need the fans. When the fans are behind the team and the stadium is rocking, it is an unbelievable place.”
Spurs look to bounce back at home against Aston Villa
Tottenham return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend to face an Aston Villa side they have failed to beat in their last two encounters.

However, Frank can take confidence from the fact that Spurs’ last victory over Unai Emery’s men came at home, when Tottenham ran out 4-1 winners in a game that demanded real character.
It was a match that tested their resolve, as Tottenham had to come from behind after trailing in the first half, but a spirited second-half display saw Postecoglou’s side turn things around in style.
