Thomas Muller has chosen to remain coy about the speculation linking Harry Kane with a move to Bayern Munich but the German admitted that he, like everyone else, is a fan of the Tottenham star.
Bayern are seemingly not giving up on their pursuit of Kane, with Sky Sports reporting on Tuesday that despite Tottenham’s insistence that the centre-forward is not for sale, the Bundesliga club are prepared to test the waters with another offer.
The report added that there is also a belief at the Bavarian club that the England captain is keen on making a move to the Allianz Arena.
It was previously reported by journalist Rudy Galetti on Monday that agreeing personal terms with Kane would not be a problem for Bayern.
The Italian suggested that Spurs would consider selling their talisman if Thomas Tuchel’s men submit an offer of around £90m.
Muller is a big fan of Harry Kane, but remains coy
However, Muller has now refused to get drawn into the rumours linking the Tottenham star with a switch to the German giants.
When asked about the speculation regarding Kane, the 33-year-old told Bild: “I’ve actually told myself that as long as something is not done, it’s not worth talking about.”
When asked if he liked Kane, Muller responded: “I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like him.”
Spurs Web Opinion
I fully expect that we will have a lot more clarity on Kane’s future over the coming days once the striker has a chat with Postecolgou.
I believe that the likely outcome is that the 29-year-old would end up staying, although I think it would be in Spurs’ best interest to cash in on the striker if Bayern offer £80m plus add-ons.
