Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Eric Dier have all been called up by Gareth Southgate for England’s upcoming matches against the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and Iceland.
The Tottenham stars will leave for the international break after the game against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho has admitted already that he is dreading the international fixtures as the players often come back with fitness issues (Football.London).
There was a lot of speculation about Kane’s fitness during last month’s international fixtures but the fears turned out to be unfounded.
However, Dier did pick up a hamstring injury in the clash against Belgium that subsequently kept him out of Tottenham’s clash against West Ham last month.
Southgate’s men have a friendly coming up against the Republic of Ireland on 13 November before two important Nations League encounters against Belgium and Iceland on the 16th and 19th respectively.
Mourinho will be hoping that his stars will be used sparingly and return to the club without any injury problems this time around.
