Three Spurs stars could miss Hammers involvement after late flights home

Tottenham Hotspur had plenty of stars out on international duty this week with their respective nations.

Unlike Liverpool, Spurs players managed to make it through the break relatively unscathed, with Danny Rose being the only minor casualty.

The likes of Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier, Hugo Lloris, Victor Wanyama, Lucas Moura, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, and Juan Foyth were all out on international duty.

However, despite not picking up injuries, a few of the Tottenham men may not make it back in time for preparation for the London derby against West Ham this weekend.

The Standard report that South Americans Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth and Lucas Moura are not expected to return from international duty on Thursday.

This leaves them precious little time to prepare for the weekend Prem fixture.

If Sanchez and Foyth were unavailable, this would leave Alderweireld and Dier as the only two central defenders in the squad, with Jan Vertonghen out injured.
