Keenan Ferguson has taken to Instagram to confirm that he has signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 20-year-old had been on trial with the development squad after leaving Sheffield United earlier in the summer and has impressed the North Londoners enough to earn a permanent contract.
Ferguson was named in Tottenham Under 21’s starting eleven for their Premier League 2 opening clash against Brighton at Hotspur Way on Saturday.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw in the match with the visitors going ahead after fifteen minutes but pulled level a minute later when Kaziah Sterling found the back of the net following an impressive run by left-back Dennis Cirkin.
Ferguson who can operate at right-back, as well as a centre half expressed his delight at completing the move to the North Londoners in what he described as a new chapter.
Spurs have already proven this summer that they are prepared to recruit top talent at academy arrival following the arrival of Alfie Devine from Wigan.
