After a miserable 2-1 defeat to Watford at the weekend, putting an end to Spurs’ unbeaten run, Toby Alderweireld has finally had some good news to enjoy.
He and his childhood sweetheart Shani Van Mieghem have announced the birth of their first child together.
The Tottenham centre-back posted a beautiful picture of baby Ayla on his Instagram account earlier today.
The couple have been married for four years now, and announced that they were expecting back in May.
It is unclear whether Alderweireld will still feature in any international games in the next couple of weeks.
