Tottenham Hotspur have done well to hang on to their biggest stars in recent years, with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli still committed to the cause.
However, Spurs may find it tricky to hang on to a couple of players for much longer, namely Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.
Both will be entering the final year of their current contract at the end of the season, which may prompt Daniel Levy to take some money for them while he still can.
Toby had his contract extended by a year this season, but this activated a clause in the contract that could see him leave for just £25m in the summer.
Spurs fans will all be praying that their Belgian duo of Alderweireld and Vertonghen are not split up, as they have been a huge part of the club’s defensive solidity in recent years.
However, Alderweireld may have just hinted that he would like to stay at Tottenham.
One fan commented on Toby’s latest Instagram pic, asking ‘Could you please stay a little longer with Spurs?’
