Toby Alderweireld has become the latest Tottenham star to take to social media to reveal his excitement at the upcoming Premier League restart in three weeks’ time.
The season has been suspended since the start of March, however, with players now authorised to engage in contact training and June 17 earmarked as the date for return, it now looks inevitable that footballing action will be back.
While some players have expressed their doubts regarding whether resuming the season is the right course of action to take, some Tottenham stars seem to be delighted at the prospect of the season returning.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli have both taken to social media to express their delight at the resumption of footballing action and Alderweireld also seems fairly buoyed by the news.
After initially reacting to the news on Friday, the Belgian international once again took to social media to express his excitement.

It certainly looks as if all of our players, as well as our management staff, are desperate to get back playing, which is a really positive sign. The last thing we need is players coming into the training ground in two minds about the resumption of the season. With a fully fit and motivated squad, hopefully, we will be able to finish the season strong.
