Harry Kane netted a hat-trick for England last evening as they demolished Montenegro 7-0 to seal qualification for Euro 2020 next summer.
The Spurs striker was at his lethal best scoring two predatory headers before smartly finishing from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross to complete a first-half hat-trick.
Kane has now overtaken Alan Shearer in England’s all-time goal scoring charts and finds himself in the sixth position. He also broke another record for the Three Lions becoming the man with the most goals as captain in the nation’s history.
Some Spurs fans took to social media to rave about the striker’s performance and wished he would get similar supply at Spurs as he does when playing for England.
Others feared that perhaps the England captain might not wait around too much longer at Spurs if the club doesn’t contest for silverware.
Here’s who some fans reacted to Kane’s performance against Montenegro:
Every time Harry Kane is doubted, he continues to prove people wrong. We are so lucky to have him, both for England and for Spurs.

A reminder of what Harry Kane can do when he’s playing with a fullback who can actually fucking cross a ball.

Harry Kane reached 30 goals for England 19 games before Shearer could, but yer da will tell you he doesn't perform for England.

I know it’s tribalism & football being slightly awful & all that but the fact that Harry Kane—nice guy, club loyal, great teammate, family man, became world class through hard graft Harry Kane—isn’t celebrated & loved by everyone & is still called a fraud drives me slightly daft.

Spurs Web Opinion
Kane will comfortably surpass Wayne Rooney’s record and I believe he could potentially end up with 70 goals if he doesn’t pick up any major injuries. He clearly loves Tottenham and it would be a massive shame if he is forced to leave for the sake of his career. We need to get back to competing for the biggest trophies if we have any hope of retaining him in the long term.
