Radu Dragusin’s agent Florin Manea has been speaking to the press once again about Tottenham’s interest in the client, revealing that the North London club took plenty of information about the centre-back’s situation ahead of the January transfer window.
Dragusin has been outstanding this season since Genoa’s promotion to the Italian top-flight and his agent is seemingly quite keen to get the 21-year-old a big move.
Just last week, Manea told ProSport (via Sport Witness) that Tottenham had expressed an interest in the Romanian defender, adding that it is now a matter of waiting and seeing what happens in January.
Over the last few days, multiple Italian outlets have claimed that Spurs are in ‘pole position’ ahead of Atalanta in the race for the centre-back’s signature (CalcioMercato).
Manea sheds more light on Dragusin talks with Spurs
Manea has now been speaking to the media again about Tottenham’s interest in Dragusin, revealing that the Lilywhites are just one of several clubs to ask about the defender.
However, the agent insisted that his client is not in a hurry to leave Genoa in January.
When asked about Tottenham’s interest in Dragusin, Manea told Fanatik: “They took all the information related to Radu. And not only them, but several clubs. The transfer will depend on Genoa.
“We are grateful to the club for what they did for Radu. We would never want to leave under conditions where Genoa are not satisfied.
“But no one is rushing us. He doesn’t have to leave now, he has the European Championship in the summer. He can play well there, increasing his share even more.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Given how vocal Manea has been over the last couple of months, I suspect he could be the one leaking all the stories to the press about Tottenham’s interest in Dragusin in an effort to boost the interest in the centre-back.
