Top four race – The remaining fixtures for Spurs, Chelsea, Leicester and Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur closed the gap a little on Leicester City this weekend after the Foxes dropped points against Southampton and Spurs defeated Sheffield United.

In the top-four race, Spurs, Chelsea, and Leicester have now all played 34 games, with Liverpool back on 33 after their match against Man United was postponed.

Leicester lead the way on 63 points, with Chelsea on 61 and Spurs on 56. Liverpool and West Ham are on 54 and 55 respectively and both have a game in hand.

If Tottenham are to have any hope of closing the gap on one of their top-four rivals and achieving Champions League football next season, they are likely going to need a flawless run between now and the end of the season.

Of course, Chelsea will still have one eye on the Champions League and Leicester have an FA Cup Final on the horizon against the Blues too.

Therefore, the final four/five fixtures of the Premier League season may indicate just who could make a late charge or suffer a late fall:

Tottenham:

Leeds United (A)

Wolves (H)

Aston Villa (H)

Leicester (A)

Leicester City:
