Tottenham eye up move for French international

Tottenham are ready to reignite old interest in PSG star Adrien Rabiot this January, after PSG are resigned to losing the young central midfield star.

The Mirror report that the 23-year-old is out of contract next summer, and is free to speak to non-French clubs in the new year, with Spurs interested.

Rabiot is said to have turned down a number of new contract offers.

Liverpool and Barcelona are both supposed to be monitoring the midfield man’s situation at PSG.

Rabiot made back pages this summer after he was not selected to be in France’s World Cup winning side.

The midfielder actually turned down a chance to be on the stand by list.

Tottenham are currently without the likes of Eriksen, Alli and Dembele, with Luke Amos injured for the rest of the season.

Pochettino could use some extra players in the centre midfield position, could Rabiot be the one?
