Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is set to return to his old stomping ground in Milton Keynes this evening, but what else does the midfielder get up to besides football?
Dele’s girlfriend of two years, Ruby Mae, shared a story on her Instagram account this week, giving us an insight into the 22-year-old’s life off the pitch.
Alli has been a huge fan of the video game Fortnite since the craze swept the nation late last year, and has even set up his own Twitch account to stream his gameplay to fans.
He has even been known to recreate Fortnite dances in his goal celebrations.
Alli told The Times in an interview earlier this year that he was the best player in the England squad: “Just now we played,” he said. “Me, Harry Kane, John Stones and Jamie Vardy against Harry Maguire, Nick Pope, Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier. It was the first to three wins and my team won.”
Dele and his Tottenham teammates Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier even played an evening of Fortnite with e-sports celebrity Ninja, who is the biggest name in both gaming and Fortnite in particular.
Ninja recently became the first non-athlete to feature on the cover of ESPN.
Ruby Mae decided to share a cheeky snap of Dele Alli’s gaming set up, poking fun at the star by plastering the pic with nerd emojis.
