Tottenham academy youngster could make the squad versus West Ham

Tottenham fans have done a bit of connecting the dots when it comes to team selections this weekend.

Young Oliver Skipp was left out of the Spurs PL2 team for face Leicester City on Friday, which could mean one of two things.

Either the academy youngster is injured or he is needed in some shape or form against West Ham this weekend.

Skipp has appeared on the Tottenham bench a number of times this season so far, most notably against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Skipp, along with Luke Amos, seem to be the stand out academy prospects this season, as Pochettino likes to pick one or two each year to bed into the first team.

With Amos out injured for the season, Skipp now seems to be the first and only in line when it comes to academy players on the bench.

He impressed during the pre-season tour of America, but must prove himself further for a chance of real game time in the Prem.
