Tottenham and Arsenal combined North London Derby XI

Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal at the Emirates in the first North London Derby this weekend, but both teams are coming in off the back of disappointing losses.

Danny Mills hit the headlines this week when he named his combined Tottenham and Arsenal North London Derby XI (Sun).

He included just two Gunners stars in Ceballos and Pepe, with the rest of the XI coming from an out of form Tottenham.

So, we decided to give it a go ourselves, assuming that all players are fit and ready to play:

I have gone for Hugo Lloris in goal for the experience, with a central duo of Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.

In the full-back positions, Kieran Tierney and Maitland-Niles take it for me, although competition at right-back was thin to say the least.

In holding mid, I have mixed the creativity of Dani Ceballos with the power and drive of Tanguy Ndombele, with Christian Eriksen just in front of them.

Up front, I have gone for Harry Kane, with Aubameyang and Son either side of him on the wings. Pepe misses out due to the fact that he is still very new to the Prem and has not yet settled, while there simply isn’t room for Lucas or Lacazette.
