Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich will be rivals in the transfer market once more this summer it seems, as both clubs have been linked with a move for VFB Stuttgart winger, Chris Fuhrich.

Last summer, the big transfer story saw Spurs lose Harry Kane to Bayern in a bumper deal that broke Tottenham hearts.
Tottenham and Bayern look set for another transfer saga
However, in the January transfer window, it was the Lilywhites who came out on top, successfully luring defender Radu Dragusin to London despite intense interest from the German giants.
The two clubs will come to head to head not once, but twice, this summer as a couple of friendlies have been arranged for pre-season, with Kane returning to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since his departure last year.
Spurs want Chris Fuhrich this summer
But, Spurs and Bayern will be competing off the pitch, too, by the sounds of it, after Christian Falk suggested both clubs are keen on signing Stuttgart winger, Chris Fuhrich.
Falk tweeted: “Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur are fighting for Chris Führich, 26-year-old Stuttgart player. The winger has a release clause of €23.5m.”
That equates to just over £20m for a player who registered nine goals and seven assists this season and helped Stuttgart bag a second-placed finish in the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern.
Fuhrich has been with Stuttgart since 2021 when he joined from SC Paderborn and it remains to be seen whether he would be willing to leave a club that has Champions League football to look forward to next season.

Spurs Web Opinion
Fuhrich registered decent numbers last season, but I don’t really think he offers much different to Timo Werner, to be honest. I’d rather see us sign a winger who is maybe a little bit stronger and more direct, whereas Fuhrich is a bit more methodical and tricky, like Werner.
The potential lure of playing for Bayern and remaining in Germany would likely also play into the Bavarian’s hands rather than him looking to adapt to the physicality of the Premier League.
Hopefully, Tottenham can get Bryan Gil off the wage bill this summer after he once again failed to break into the Spurs first team under Ange Postecoglou.
