Tottenham and Igor Tudor set for mutual exit agreement: Chris Hughton could receive a call

Tottenham Hotspur and Igor Tudor now look to have reached a mutual agreement on his managerial position after a poor run of results.

It has been a topsy-turvy 2026 for Tottenham Hotspur, who have struggled to hit any sort of form under both Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor.

Frank’s struggles did not begin in 2026 but date back to the later stages of 2025, before Tottenham decided to part ways with the Dane early this year after he left the north Londoners firmly in a relegation scrap.

After Frank’s dismissal, Igor Tudor came in and was expected to turn things around in north London.

However, that has not been achieved, with the Croat managing just one win from his seven matches in charge of Tottenham.

Tottenham set for Igor Tudor exit as Nottingham Forest defeat proves decisive

His latest defeat to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest looks to have been the final straw for Tottenham, as they now find themselves in 17th, a single point above West Ham United.

It had long been reported that a decision on Tudor’s future would be made after the Forest encounter, with a defeat there set to spell his end in north London.

According to TeamTalk, Igor Tudor is now expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent. This comes after the former Juventus man struggled to improve performances on the pitch, which was discussed at several board meetings.

However, it is understood that the decision on a mutual parting of ways is not just down to on-pitch performances, as it is claimed Tudor himself is ready to step away following the recent death of his father, Mario.

Tottenham consider Adi Hutter and Chris Hughton as Spurs weigh next move

Spurs do have time to secure a replacement for Tudor, given they will not take to the pitch until April 12, when they take on newly promoted Sunderland.

Securing a manager quickly will afford him enough time to work with this group of Tottenham players before the Premier League run-in kicks in.

Adi Hutter is reported to be one of the names Spurs are considering as a Tudor replacement. TeamTalk have also named ex-Spurs man Chris Hughton as one on the radar of Tottenham, while Roberto De Zerbi is another manager Spurs are looking to land.
