Tottenham and Liverpool fight over Lazio defender

According to Italian media, Lazio full back Adam Marusic is being watched by a number of top European clubs at the moment.

The defender joined Lazio last summer from Belgian outfit KV Oostende for a fee of just 6.5 million Euros.

CalcioMercato now report that his stocks have risen to a value around the 20 million Euro mark.

Marusic has been in awesome form so far this season, and it is not surprising that he is beginning to catch the eye of some top Prem teams.

He has played in eight out of nine league games for Lazio so far this season.

Both Tottenham and Liverpool are said to be interested in signing him, and will do battle to secure his services.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keen on the star defender.

Lazio do not currently have a replacement for Marusic, so a January move may be unlikely, but the Italian side would find it difficult to turn down a big money offer.
