Tottenham Hotspur have just made a big move towards signing one of Xavi Simons’ former teammates in January.
Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for a new winger after a summer which saw Heung-min Son and Bryan Gil depart the club, while Manor Solomon was loaned to Villarreal.
It has been said that Spurs are plotting a move for Antoine Semenyo. The Bournemouth winger has already bagged six goals and 3 assists in 13 Premier League appearances this season.
There have also been talks about Tottenham showing interest in Yan Diomande, a 19-year-old who is valued at £88m.

Tottenham Hotspur step up interest in Yan Diomande
According to Sky Sports Switzerland, Tottenham have held advanced talks with Diomande’s entourage, but they face competition from Liverpool.
Spurs have been monitoring Diomande for several months, and he has caught the eye of Thomas Frank in particular because he is a dynamic player who can break through defences.
RB Leipzig remain calm for the time being as they have not entered into official talks with any potential buyers. They are closely monitoring discussions involving their young forward, who has four goals and four assists already this season.
Tottenham could benefit from Liverpool signing Antoine Semenyo
Although Spurs want to sign Semenyo, it could be beneficial for the club if Liverpool are the team to secure the Bournemouth star.
After all, it seems unlikely he will choose to play his football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the latter half of this season.
This could mean Liverpool cool their interest in Diomande, allowing Tottenham to swoop in and seal a deal. However, Spurs may be reluctant to pay £88m, so there could be some negotiating to be done before an agreement is made.
