There has been plenty of speculation linking the midfielder with a return to the Premier League over recent weeks, with Tottenham named as one of the contenders for his signature (The Sun).
This has now been backed up by GiveMeSport, who say that Spurs, Liverpool, Newcastle and Man Utd have all expressed an interest in Gomes.

However, the outlet explains that the Magpies are currently considered outsiders in the race while Man Utd’s interest in the player is also only thought to be preliminary.
The report claims that Tottenham and Liverpool are the most serious about bringing the 24-year-old back to England, with the player’s contract at Lille sent to end next summer.
The publication adds that the midfielder is expected to demand a salary of around £ 150,000 per week to sign on the dotted line.
