Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are two of several clubs across Europe closely watching an exciting young Ivory Coast international.
Spurs paid £52m to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in the summer, and the attacking midfielder has had struggles in adapting to Premier League football.
In fact, some pundits have already written off Xavi as a flop, suggesting that he does not have the tools to succeed in English football, but that is not stopping Tottenham Hotspur from eyeing another young Leipzig attacker.
It has now emerged that the Lilywhites are tracking an 18-year-old winger, who only moved to the Red Bull Arena in the summer, but they are not the player’s only admirers.

Tottenham one of several clubs across Europe eyeing Yan Diomande
Yan Diomande arrived at Leipzig from the Spanish side Leganes in a £17.6m deal in the summer, and the teenager has made a bright start to life in Germany.
The pacy wide man has two goals and three assists in nine Bundesliga matches, and according to TBR Football, Tottenham are among his admirers.
The outlet says that Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United have scouted Diomande multiple times ahead of the January window.
Additionally, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also been alerted to the youngster.
Representatives from many of the clubs were in attendance during Leipzig’s 3-1 win over Stuttgart at the weekend to watch the Ivorian get on the scoresheet.
Spurs will have to break the bank to land Diomande
TBR Football say that Leipzig are aware of the growing interest in the winger and are even prepared to offer him an improved contract, just months after he signed for the club.
The outlet also spoke to journalist Graeme Bailey, who revealed that the winger is valued at around £88m by the German side.
Bailey told TBR about Diomande: “He really is special, I am told Red Bull think he could be their greatest prospect since Erling Haaland. Leipzig say there is no release clause, and already he is being talked about in the £88 million category.
“From what I am hearing from scouts and clubs, there is not a player currently in Europe who has clubs more excited. Could he have a third club in 18 months, come next summer? It’s not beyond the realms of possibility.”
