Tottenham and Man City the only teams to make this goal scoring list

Tottenham Hotspur ran rampant against Everton on Sunday, smashing six past England number one Jordan Pickford at Goodison Park.

Harry Kane and Heung-min Son both bagged braces in the match, while Dele Alli smashed home a rebound, and Christian Eriksen guided an edge-of-the-box missile into the bottom corner.

Tottenham had been due a goal scoring rout like this, as they have often dominated games of late without taking full advantage of the number of chances they create.

In truth, Spurs could have had ten goals against Everton if Kane had been even more lethal, but I’m sure fans won’t feel hard done by with just the six.

This incredible game chalked Tottenham Hotspur’s name onto a list already dominated by themselves and Man City.

The last seven teams to score six or more goals in a Premier League game are as follows: Tottenham, Tottenham, Man City, Man City, Man City, Man City, Tottenham.

Who’s up for another six-goal thriller on Boxing Day?
