Tottenham and Man United in three-horse race to sign £26m Juventus man this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are battling two other Premier League clubs to land a Serie A defender who could be on the market soon.

With Radu Dragusin expected to exit Tottenham this month, the Lilywhites may be on the lookout for reinforcements in central defence.

Additionally, Tottenham have also lost Ben Davies to an injury, which may force them to make further additions at full-back.

The North Londoners could potentially solve both problems in one by making a move for a Juventus star. It emerged a few months ago that Spurs are plotting a move for Pierre Kalulu, and there has now been a new update on the defender’s future.

Tottenham battling two Premier League clubs for Pierre Kalulu

A new report in Calciomercato.it has revealed that Spurs continue to retain an interest in Kalulu, but they face competition from two of their rivals.

Aston Villa and Manchester United are both ready to challenge Tottenham for Kalulu, who is a centre-back by trade but has also impressed at right-back.

The 25-year-old, who joined Juve on loan from AC Milan in 2024 before making a permanent move to Turin last summer, has scored once and provided four assists in Serie A this term.

Juve may be willing to sell Kalulu to Spurs

Calciomercato.it suggest that a transfer is not on the cards for the Frenchman this month, with all three Premier League clubs eyeing a summer deal.

It is revealed that the Bianconeri may need to raise cash if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League and may thus be open to selling Kalulu.

The report claims that an offer of around €30m (£26m) at the end of the season may be enough to convince the Old Lady to part ways with the versatile defender.
