Tottenham and Thomas Frank already agree on summer transfer targets

Tottenham and Thomas Frank have already drawn up a transfer plan for the summer window, with key targets and positions agreed before the managerial appointment is even confirmed.

Thomas Frank’s move to Tottenham Hotspur is nearing its completion, with reports over the past few days stating that an agreement has been reached with the Dane and an announcement could be made later this week.

Tottenham have not been active in the summer window in recent days and have already missed out on a couple of transfer targets, including Liam Delap, whom Chelsea managed to sign ahead of Spurs earlier in the window.

Johnny Cardoso could also be heading elsewhere, despite Tottenham holding a £21 million option to buy the Real Betis midfielder, with Atletico Madrid already submitting a bid for the American international.

Tottenham and Thomas Frank agree on transfer targets and summer budget

Tottenham will hope to seal a deal for their new manager before making new acquisitions this summer, and recent reports have confirmed that other elements have already been agreed upon with Frank.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that there is an agreement between Tottenham and Thomas Frank on the overall project.

The salary of the Dane, as well as the length of his contract, have all been agreed as Spurs work to complete a deal in the coming days.

According to Romano, it is also understood that an agreement has been reached on the budget, the positions, and the players Frank would look to target once the deal is finalised between both parties.

Spurs transfer plan includes marquee signing and potential Brentford reunion

Of course, finalising a deal with Thomas Frank is what has been top of the bucket list at Tottenham, which explains their lack of activity in the summer window so far.

A deal with the 51-year-old is now close to completion, which means the Lilywhites would now turn their attention back to on-field matters.

It has long been reported that Tottenham are looking to make additions in defence, midfield, and attack this summer.

It was also claimed that a marquee signing is on the agenda for the Lilywhites, who are said to be considering a move for either Jack Grealish or Eberechi Eze.

Rumours also suggest that Frank could reunite with two Brentford stars, with reports claiming that a move for Nathan Collins and Bryan Mbeumo is one the Dane would like Tottenham to pursue.

Still, nothing has been finalised, and with the window now shut until it reopens on the 16th, Spurs fans will need to be patient before seeing any signings completed.
