Tottenham announce another step forward in the easing of club’s lockdown

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they will be reopening three of their club shops from Monday 15 June (THFC).

However, the club shop at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will not reopen until June 20 and will remain shut on matchdays.

The Harlow, Chelmsford, and Stevenage shop locations will all reopen on June 15 and will trade between 10 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday.

The shops will reopen with the government’s public health guidance in mind, so Spurs will be implementing new measures to keep both shoppers and workers safe.

All employees and shoppers will be requested to take a non-invasive temperature check at the door of the shop.

If any customer is wearing gloves on arrival to the shop, they will be asked to remove them upon entering the store.

Hand sanitiser dispensers will be in use around each store with shoppers will be encouraged to make use of them.

Barriers and directional signage have also been put in place to allow customers to move around the shop safely whilst obeying the social distancing regulations.

As well as increased levels of cleaning, the club have asked customers to use contactless payment when possible.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is good to see shops in general reopening following what has been a strange period. It is also good to see Spurs are not opening the main club shop on matchdays to avoid any fans venturing to the stadium on the day of the game.
