Tottenham announce fixture change as match is chosen for TV coverage

Tottenham Hotspur have now announced that the Premier League fixture against West Ham United, to be played on Sunday, March 20, will kick off at 16:30 instead of 14:00.

The match, which takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, has been altered slightly due to a ‘broadcast request with league approval’, as Sky Sports are now showing the live coverage.

Spurs and West Ham have both been involved in a somewhat topsy turvy battle for Champions League football this season, fighting over the final top-four spot.

That position is currently occupied by Manchester United on 47 points, with West Ham two points behind. Arsenal are also on 45 points but have three games in hand of both their rivals, while Spurs are in seventh on 42 points with two games in hand.

The face-off between Spurs and West Ham towards the end of this month may have huge repercussions in the top four hopes of both sides.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Tottenham need to find consistency to drag themselves back into contention and, with matches against all three of their rivals to come, they also need to turn up in the big six-point games.
