Tottenham announce highly-rated youngster has been loaned out for 20/21 season

Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed that academy youngster, Troy Parrott has been loaned out to Millwall for the entirety of the 20/21 season.

This comes after somewhat of a breakthrough season for the Rish 19-year-old in which he made his full Tottenham debut and Premier League debut.

However, despite the injuries to Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn, and Heung-min Son earlier in the season, Parrott struggled for consistent minutes on the pitch.

The academy man managed just two Premier League appearances, as well as one outing in the FA Cup and one in the League Cup.

The Lilywhites and Parrott himself will be hoping that a full-season loan to Millwall will grant the youngster the chance to shine within a first-team with regular minutes.

Parrott managed 11 goals and one assist in 11 games across all competitions at all age levels last season (TransferMarkt).

Millwall finished eighth in the Championship last season and will be hoping to push for those play-off places next year.
