Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed that Nuno Espirito Santo will be joined in North London by Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias who will make up his backroom staff.
Cathro will serve as Nuno’s assistant head coach after working with the Portuguese manager at Wolves, Valencia and Rio Ave.
Barbosa will become the club’s new goalkeeping coach and Dias will be Tottenham’s fitness coach after having both worked with Nuno at previous jobs.
This group of four replace the team Jose Mourinho had in place last season, as well as Ryan Mason’s temporary team. However, that is not to say that Mason’s team will leave the North London club.
Spurs Web Opinion:
A small team of people who have worked with Nuno before, while also leaving room for the likes of Ledley King to play a part. I can’t say I know much about the three men joining Spurs but I can’t wait to get to know them.
