Tottenham announce that three PL fixtures have been rescheduled

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that three of their 2021/22 fixtures have been chosen for television coverage.

Crystal Palace away will now take place on 11th September, at 12:30 PM on BT Sport, while two London derbies, Arsenal and Chelsea, have also been chosen.

Chelsea at home will be on 19th September at 4.30 PM on Sky Sports, whereas the North London derby will on the following Sunday at 4.30 PM again, also on Sky Sports.

Spurs will be hoping to get off to the best possible start under Nuno Espirito Santo, but these three fixtures will be tough.

Nuno’s first game couldn’t be more of a challenge as Spurs travel to the Etihad and the following month in September, as mentioned above, also has two big London Derbies.

Boris Johnson is reportedly set to announce the return of full capacity for football stadiums starting from August.

Aside from the current situation, packed stadiums full of atmosphere for these three league games will be a beautiful sight to behold after the tough period of behind closed doors football.

Arsenal and Chelsea’s fixtures always seem to go back to back, and it’s no different this season.

These sorts of games can make or break a season; positive results in these tense affairs could be just what Nuno needs to win over the fans and start this project with full support.

Equally, it goes the other way: poor results in these games could add to the toxic atmosphere that is already to be expected.
