A Ligue 1 star has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur by intermediaries, but other Premier League clubs are also in the race.
It has been reported that Spurs are looking to strengthen at full-back this window in light of Destiny Udogie’s injury issues.
Spurs have had an offer rejected for Santos starlet Souza, with Tottenham’s £8m offer not being enough to clinch the deal. However, Tottenham have since agreed personal terms with Souza and have submitted an improved £13m bid.
It has now emerged that Spurs have been offered the chance to sign another Brazilian full-back, who they have had their eye on for a while.

Tottenham offered a chance to sign Monaco star Vanderson
According to a report in TEAMtalk, the North London club have been contacted by intermediaries regarding AS Monaco’s Vanderson.
The 24-year-old is known for his attacking flair and engine, having scored eight goals and given 16 assists in 137 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
Vanderson’s impressive displays in France have seen him break into the Brazilian national team, for whom he has won seven caps.
It is revealed that the full-back is now ready to leave Monaco in January, with agents now working on finding him a new club.
Other Premier League clubs are also in the race for Vanderson
TEAMtalk say that Crystal Palace are also keen to strengthen at full-back and are considering a move for Vanderson.
Meanwhile, Everton and Brighton have also been notified about the availability of the Monaco man, who is eyeing a switch to England.
The outlet adds that it would take an offer of £20m to prise Vanderson away from the Ligue 1 side this month.
