Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to hold a new round of talks with Bayern Munich over the coming days regarding a deal for Harry Kane.
On Sunday, we relayed an update from Ben Jacobs, who claimed that Bayern are set to submit an improved offer of £80m for Kane to test Tottenham’s resolve.

The journalist revealed that the Bundesliga giants want the striker to put in a transfer request but the 29-year-old had not informed the Spurs hierarchy that he wants to leave.
Jacobs further added that Ange Postecolgou is planning for next season with Kane at the club and that the Australian is expected to make that clear in his talks with the centre-forward.
This was also backed up by Alasdair Gold, who revealed in his recent column for Football.London that Tottenham are hoping their new head coach can persuade the star striker to stay and get him excited about the season ahead.
New round of talks to come for Spurs and Bayern
However, Galetti has remarked that Kane has his heart set on a move to the Allianz Arena and that the two clubs are expected to reignite talks over a summer deal soon.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “Kane is ready to leave Tottenham this summer despite his contract expiring in 2024. It’s up to the clubs.
“A new round of talks is expected soon between Bayern and Tottenham, and the German club will try to convince Spurs to let him go this summer.”
Spurs Web Opinion
While there is no doubt that Kane would be a huge loss, I believe that it would be naive to hang on to him in the hope that he would change his mind and sign a new contract next season.
I do not see the 29-year-old penning a new deal unless Postecoglou performs a miracle and gets us competing for the title next season.
So, the question for Levy is whether he wants a decent sum for Kane this summer and ensure that he leaves the Premier League or if he wants the striker to play one more season at Spurs and join another English club on a free.
