Tottenham are expected to submit £25m bid for exciting forward after latest enquiry

Tottenham are stepping up their interest in a top forward target, with reports suggesting that a formal offer could soon be on the table.

Rayan’s rise in Brazil has been rapid, and with several European clubs circling, it appears Spurs are looking to move quickly before the teenager’s value climbs even further.

The 19-year-old has been one of the standout talents in the Brazilian top flight this season, capable of playing both out wide and through the middle.

Having just netted his 16th goal of the campaign against Fluminense, it is no surprise that interest from Europe has intensified, and as a result, Vasco da Gama are reportedly eager to tie him down to a new contract, aware that a major transfer could be on the horizon if they fail to do so.

Tottenham plan £25m bid for Rayan Viktor

Tottenham are understood to be one of the clubs showing firm interest in Rayan Viktor, with Barcelona also remaining in the mix for the talented forward.

Reports from Globo Esporte now indicate that an offer worth around €30m (£25.4m) is expected from Spurs as they look to secure the services of Rayan Viktor.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly enquired about the teenager and have already initiated contact to explore the possibility of securing a work permit, knowing that a potential Brazil call-up would strengthen their case.

After Vasco’s recent victory over Fluminense, manager Fernando Diniz was full of praise for the young striker, emphasising his maturity and development this season.

Speaking to reporters, Diniz said: “Rayan only confirms what I saw very early. He has to be on the World Cup radar. He’s becoming more solid, more confident, and establishing himself as a great forward. The Rayan of tomorrow will be better than the Rayan of today. He’s very special.”

Coutinho hails Rayan Viktor as “a jewel”

Former Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has also expressed his admiration for Rayan, highlighting his character and humility despite the growing attention around him.

Introducing his remarks, Coutinho described the youngster as a special talent who works tirelessly to improve.

“He’s a jewel,” Coutinho said. “I’m very happy for what he’s living. He’s humble, works hard, keeps his feet on the ground, and deserves everything that’s happening. It’s a pleasure to play with him at the start of his career.”
