Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for one of the best young attacking talents in Ligue 1, but they will have to battle a whole host of Premier League clubs for his signature.
While Mohammed Kudus has been outstanding since arriving at Tottenham, making the right-wing spot his own, Thomas Frank has had issues on the other flank.
The Dane has tried Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons, Brennan Johnson and Mathys Tel in that role, but none of them have really set the world alight in that position.
It has been reported over recent weeks that Tottenham are now looking to add another wide player to their squad, and it has now emerged that a 20-year-old Belgian international is on their radar.

Tottenham set to battle Premier League giants for Lyon starlet Malick Fofana
Journalist Mark Brus has revealed that Tottenham are one of several clubs keen on Lyon’s Malick Fofana, who is expected to be on the move next summer.
The 20-year-old, who primarily plays on the right, has 17 goals and seven assists since joining Lyon from Gent in January of last year, and his list of admirers is now growing.
Brus said on The Daily Briefing about Fofana: “I can reveal, having checked this with other people with ties to the agents industry, that initial talks have already taken place to sound out potential suitors for Fofana.
“The 20-year-old is hugely ambitious and Lyon have been made aware of his ambitions, with multiple sources confirming that next summer is likely to be the one in which he and his representatives try to get a big move.
“Chelsea have been contacted, as have the teams Pena mentioned, Liverpool, Man City and Bayern, and I’ve also been told to look out for Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United. Expect that list to grow in the months ahead.”
How much would Spurs have to pay for Malick Fofana?
This is not the first time the Lyon man is being linked with a move to Spurs, with ESPN reporting back in June that Tottenham expressed an interest in signing Fofana.
The outlet claimed at the time that Spurs and the winger’s other suitors were put off by Lyon’s high asking price of around £40m-£45m.
One would imagine that Fofana’s value will increase even further over the coming months if he continues impressing in Ligue 1.
