Tottenham Hotspur fans will be excited this evening, as the club are reportedly close to completing a deal for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Spurs are ‘on the verge of’ of deal that will bring Ndombele to the North London club for a fee of around €62.
There are apparently just a few remaining details to address before Ndombele is able to make his summer move.
This comes just hours after Lyon announced the arrival of Jean Lucas today, a man who is likely to be Ndombele’s replacement for next season (Lyon Twitter).
The Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulus also revealed today that Ndombele has asked to leave the club this summer (Mirror).
He also claimed last week that there would be a chance for Ndombele to leave the club if they brought in a replacement in his position (Football London).
Everything seems to be pointing towards an impending Ndombele signing, but can Spurs get it over the line?
