Tottenham battle two Premier League rivals to sign Real Madrid player on loan

A Real Madrid youngster is on Tottenham’s radar, and the player is thought to be open to a move away from Santiago Bernabeu.

It has been widely reported over the last few weeks that Tottenham want to add a number nine to their squad in January.

The Lilywhites have been heavily linked with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, while a few other sources have also suggested that Spurs could make a move for Porto centre-forward Samu Aghehowa.

However, a fresh report has now claimed that Thomas Frank’s side are one of the clubs whose head has been turned by the availability of a Brazil international.

Tottenham could sign Real Madrid starlet Endrick on loan

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham are one of three Premier League clubs eyeing a move for Real Madrid’s Endrick.

The 19-year-old striker has found opportunities hard to come by since his move to the Spanish capital, and he has not had a single minute of action this season since Xabi Alonso walked through the door.

It is asserted that Endrick is frustrated at his situation and is exploring the possibility of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu on loan in January ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

Any club looking to sign the teenager would have to pay a substantial loan fee and cover his full £70,000-a-week salary.

The report claims that West Ham are also interested in Endrick, while Aston Villa are also named as a potential challenger for the forward’s signature.

Do Spurs have room for another forward in their squad?

In Richarlison, Randal Kolo Muani, Mathys Tel and Dominic Solanke, Spurs are well covered for options upfront.

However, due to injury and form, none of those four options have made the number nine spot their own this season.

There have been suggestions over recent weeks that Tottenham could cash in on Richarlison in January, and such a deal may open the door for the club to sign another striker.
