Tottenham will face off against Atletico Madrid in a race to sign Espanyol striker Pablo Osvaldo who is expected to fetch £14m for his current employers.
Espanyol are reported to be ready to cash in on the 25-year-old and Atletico Madrid are said to have already offered £11million for the striker who was born in Argentina.
Osvaldo holds dual nationality and an Italian passport and favours a move to England. The Daily Mirror claim that Spurs would offer a four-year deal worth £65,000 a week.
