Things have not gone to plan for Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur so far, and he may well be running out of time to fix the issue.
Since taking over from Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham last summer, Thomas Frank has not really enjoyed a new manager bounce or had any real consistent success with the Lilywhites.

He’s started 2026 with two dismal draws and a defeat to Bournemouth that leaves Spurs down in 14th place in the Premier League table.
While it has been said that the Tottenham board will give Frank the full season to show what he can do, it sounds like that faith may be fading fast.

Spurs board are considering options
According to the latest report on the situation from insiders at TEAMtalk, the hierarchy at Tottenham are growing increasingly concerned with the way things are going under Frank and the lack of progress the team is showing.
One insider said “the board are considering all options” when it comes to the big decision over Frank’s future as Tottenham manager.
While the board would still prefer to assess things at the end of the season, they are now said to be demanding a quick turnaround in fortunes to put minds at ease.
With reports of fan frustration with Spurs players and Frank’s blunder with the Arsenal coffee cup not helping matters this week, there is not a very positive feeling around the club right now. Indeed, the next few games are now seen as make-or-break for Frank if he is to keep his job.
Can Thomas Frank turn things around at Tottenham?
Interestingly, Frank thought Spurs were ‘good’ against Bournemouth despite the result. Clearly, the fans do not agree.
He’s now got a crucial run of games until the end of the month that could define what happens next. In many ways, they are winnable matches, too.

League clashes with Burnley and West Ham, two teams in the relegation zone, should be victories, on paper at least.
The FA Cup clash with Aston Villa this weekend will be tough, of course, but fans will be eager to see some progress in the competition to offer some semblance of hope for the season.
Beyond that, a run of games against teams in the top six — Man City, Man United, and Newcastle — will be stern tests for Spurs and Frank. Whether he’s still around after that period in early February will be very interesting to see.
