Tottenham captain rated higher than Alisson, Ederson and Navas

Mid-September is rolling in, which means the arrival of the latest instalment in the FIFA video game franchise is nearly upon us.

EASPORTS have been counting down their top 100 rated FIFA 19 players this week, with Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen already receiving their 87 and 88 ratings respectively.

Today the 30-21 slots have been announced, and yet another Spurs player features, this time their captain Hugo Lloris.

Lloris has retained his amazing 88 rating from last season, retaining his spot as one of the game’s best shot stoppers.

This puts him ahead of Man City’s Ederson, Liverpool’s Alisson, and even Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas.

Hugo enjoyed an outstanding season with Tottenham last campaign, as well as leading his country to World Cup glory in the summer.

His stats are as follows: diving 88, handling 84, kicking 68, reflexes 92, speed 65, and positioning 85.

Beside his card, EA wrote the following description: “The French goalkeeper has many assets that make him an elite player, but he’s probably best known for his lightning-quick 92 Reflexes that come in handy when facing penalty kicks, point-blank headers, and more. Lloris can also get anywhere between the posts in a flash to make an acrobatic save, thanks to an 88 Diving rating.”

Tottenham fans will be hoping that Lloris can live up to this high rating this season, as they look to make a real push for the title.

The Spurs keeper is hoping to make a return to the starting line up against Liverpool this weekend after a short spell out through injury.
