According to reports by Alfredopedulla.com Tottenham are chasing young Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The youngster is tipped as one of the best up-and-coming midfielders in Europe, and has already played on the biggest domestic stage, the Champions League.
Donny has actually scored among Europe’s elite too, with one goal in 103 minutes of Champions League football.
He has also racked up two starts and five substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax this season, providing one assist.
It has been reported by HITC that Ajax do not want to sell the star in January, but are willing to part company with him next summer.
Tottenham, Chelsea and Barcelona are all said to be interested.
Spurs will be hoping that their positive relationship with Ajax when it comes to buying players will come in handy. The likes of Christian Eriksen, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen were all purchased from the Dutch giants.
21-year-old Donny van de Beek could be exactly what Spurs are looking for.
