Tottenham confirm arrival of Italian

Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced that Fabio Paratici has joined the club in the role of Managing Director Football, with effect from 1 July 2021.

Paratici had spent the last eleven seasons at Juventus, most recently as chief football officer and saw the Old Lady win 19 trophies during his time with the club but departed at the end of the season when his contract was not renewed (AS).

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has previously employed Damien Comolli, Frank Arnesen and David Pleat in the role of sporting director but shelved that strategy in recent times with Steve Hitchen operating as Technical Performance Director, with responsibility for scouting, performance, recruitment analysis and youth recruitment.

Paratici had previously worked with former Spurs managerial candidate Antonio Conte at Juventus between 2011 and 2014, when the club won three consecutive Serie A titles.

He will be responsible for responsible for managing and developing the Club’s sporting operations at the Club, facilities and footballing infrastructure.
