Tottenham confirm exit of Fabio Paratici signing

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has sealed his move to Sevilla for the remainder of the season on loan, the club’s official website have confirmed.

The Spanish international heads back to his former club who have no option to make the deal permanent in the summer and was seen arriving at San Pablo Airport in Seville on earlier this afternoon.

Gil joined Spurs from Sevilla in the summer of 2021 as part of the deal that took Erik Lamela to Spain but has struggled to make an impact during Antonio Conte’s time at the club.

Fabrizio Romano had revealed last week on the Last Word on Spurs YouTube Channel that Tottenham were not ‘100 per cent convinced’ about offloading Gil this transfer window, however, the arrival of Arnaut Danjuma has given them further attacking options.

His last appearance for the north Londoners came in the last five minutes of Saturday evening’s FA Cup victory at Preston North End.
