Tottenham Hotspur have this afternoon confirmed the latest departure from the playing squad ahead of next season.

Tanguy Ndombele has left Tottenham Hotspur
The club have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Tanguy Ndombele to mutually depart the club on June 30th.
Despite the fact his contract runs until the summer of 2025, Tottenham held discussions with his representatives to reach an amicable agreement and end his deal a year early.
The 27-year-old joined Spurs in the summer of 2019 from Lyon in a club record £55million transfer but the midfielder has made a senior appearance for the club since January 9, 2022.

The biggest transfer flop in Tottenham’s history
The transfer shattered the club’s previous record of £35.7million which they paid Ajax for defender Davinson Sanchez.
A statement on the official Spurs site read: “The Club can confirm the departure of Tanguy Ndombele following the mutual termination of his contract, effective from 30 June, upon the conclusion of his current loan spell.
“Signed from Olympique Lyonnais in July, 2019, the midfielder scored on his debut against Aston Villa and went on to make 91 appearances for us in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
“During his time here, Tanguy had loan spells back at Lyon, Napoli and with Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray last season.
“We should like to wish Tanguy all the best for the future.”
Ndombele joins the likes of Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic in departing the North London club.

Ange Postecoglou made it clear last summer that the midfielder was not a part of his plans, despite handing him a fresh start when he first arrived.
Ndombele has failed to impress under numerous managers with his lack of effort, arguably, Jose Mourinho had the most success in getting something out of the Frenchman.
