Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to loan Bryan Gil to Valencia for the remainder of the season, the club have confirmed this evening.
Gil has struggled to get regular game time under his belt in his first six months at Tottenham following his move from Sevilla in the summer.
The winger had failed to start a single Premier League game for the North London club (Transfermarkt) and although he has had a few decent cameos off the bench under Antonio Conte, he appeared to be a fair way down the Italian’s starting eleven.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on Sunday evening that Spurs had agreed to a deal with the La Liga side while also insisting there was no option to make the deal permanent.

Gil needs game time in order to continue his development and to give himself a chance of making the Spain squad for the Qatar World Cup.
This is a good move for all parties involved as the last thing that Spurs need is for the youngster’s confidence to be shattered by an elongated spell on the bench.
