Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Besiktas for Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.
The 24-year-old winger made the move to North London in August 2016 when he penned a five-year contract following a £9million switch from Marseille (BBC).
He was often a figure of frustration, blessed with natural pace and a left foot but was unable to show consistency to force his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s side on a regular basis.
Arguably his best moment came last season when he came on late as a substitute against Fulham in the Premier League and delivered a stunning cross onto the head of Harry Winks to secure a last minute victory against the Cottagers.
His only goal came in a Champions League group game against Apoel Nicosia in 2017 and despite making a late cameo against Aston Villa on the opening fixture of the Premier League campaign this season, he will now look to rebuild his career in Turkey.
