Journalist Pete O’Rourke has revealed what he expects to happen with Pape Matar Sarr this summer as Tottenham fight to preserve their Premier League status.
Spurs could be forced into making major changes to their squad this summer if they get relegated from the Premier League.
However, the expectation is that there will also be a lot of player turnover at the North London club if they manage to stay in the top flight.
Spurs have reportedly already decided to cash in on four senior players, as they are starting to plan their squad building ahead of the summer.

Tottenham midfielder Pape Sarr is expected to attract interest from the European elite
Journalist Mark Brus revealed on CaughtOffside a few days ago that Tottenham are preparing for big bids to come in for Pape Sarr this summer.
The journalist claimed that the club could potentially raise as much as £50m for the 23-year-old, who is a man in demand.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke believes that Sarr will not just be of interest to Premier League clubs but also the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
O’Rourke told Football Insider: “It won’t just be Premier League clubs, looking at Sarr, there’ll be a lot of European interest as well. There’s been talk of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and others all looking at the Senegal international as well. Tottenham know that they have got a top young player on their hands, he’s still only 23.
“He’s obviously a big player for Senegal as well, and if he goes away to the World Cup and does well for them at the finals, it’s only going to enhance his reputation and maybe bring even further interest in him.”
Why Sarr sale may make sense for Spurs
Reports indicate that Tottenham are keen on splashing the cash this summer and undertaking an ambitious rebuild of their squad after a quiet January window.
However, several experts have pointed out that Spurs have a major cash flow problem and a rising transfer debt to address.
The Lilywhites may thus be plotting to raise plenty of cash through player sales this summer and if Sarr fetches a big fee, Roberto De Zerbi may decide to sacrifice the Senegal international in order to bring in the players he wants.
